Malankara Catholic Children’s League (MCCL) is an organization geared to children 5-18 years of age. There are two divisions: Jesus Kids (12 years and under) and Jesus Teens (13-18 years old). Those above 15 years old are also eligible to participate in MCYM as well. The four chief objectives are the holistic growth of children, the empowerment in Christian vocation and mission, fostering personal spiritual growth, and inculcating ecclesial identity. In addition, we aim to teach our children to be servants of Christ and their community and participate in various events that strengthen their bonds with Christ and each other. St. Alphonsa is the heavenly patroness of the organization. Catechism and MCCL are two sides of one-coin; Catechism educates the biblical and dogmatic teachings of faith, and MCCL provides the practical application of the faith.  MCCL Meetings are conducted once a month. Officers have additional monthly meetings. We enthusiastically collaborate with the Eparchy level retreats and celebrations. MCCL Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of February.
